Please take a moment and meet the 23 Ambassadors representing 13 states and Washington, DC.

By clicking the below button, meet and lean about each lady.

Join the National Community Action Board

ROC4Aging+ is seeking local and national community leaders who are currently involved in efforts to improve the quality of life for people living with HIV who are aging.  For this NCAB, ROC4Aging+ seeks a collective of individuals who represent a range of experiences in managing HIV and other age-related medical conditions.

We welcome applications from members of different communities impacted by HIV, including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) individuals, immigrants, LGBQ people, transgender/gender non-conforming people, people with histories of substance use, sex workers, and people who have experienced imprisonment.  We also welcome applications from allies who are not living with HIV but whose professional and life experiences demonstrate an ongoing commitment to people living with HIV and who are aging.

About Ribbon Organizing Center for HIV/Age Positively

ROC4Aging+ provides comprehensive technical assistance to twenty-four partner organizations to strengthen their capacity to respond to the changing social and healthcare needs of an aging HIV population.  With our partners, ROC4Aging+ works to fulfill its mission to ensure access to high-quality HIV primary care and aging services and advocate for public policies that will enhance the well-being, quality of life, and dignity of all persons living with HIV.

EPIC Movement @ USCHA

Epic movement

The EPIC Movement is an advocacy network formed to light the way by and for Black cisgender women living with HIV.

JOIN THE CHANGE

On February 16, 2021, a fire is made from complete combustion. In order to obtain a complete combustion, you need the following:

An adequate air (oxygen) supply. Adequate fuel/air mixture. Appropriate combustor temperature for fuel ignition.

The EPIC Movement started with a conversation in Baltimore, Maryland in February 2022 between Black cisgender women living with HIV and allies around how Black cisgender women are disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS and less likely to make it through the care continuum. (Oxygen) This led to taking a stand for action (Fuel). When these mixtures combined, we had the right temperature for a fuel ignition that made us all ignite with fire inside to start the EPIC Movement.

WE ARE: The EPIC Movement is an advocacy movement for and by Black cisgender women lving with HIV in the United States.

It is time for Black cisgender women living with HIV to have their voices heard. We created the EPIC Movement make a differenc, because we can no longer afford to remain faceless and silent in the wake of the continued devastation caused by of ongoing epidemic, HIV disease.

We are: Here to ensure that Black cisgender women are thriving in all aspects of their lives and that any plan or strategy to end the HIV epidemic in this country takes what we think matters into accounts.
